I am Vicki K. Richardson, the CEO of Iris Kitchen Catering. I’m from the beautiful and lush island of Jamaica. Cooking has always been a passion of my very creative family.

My brother, who I affectionately call “my one and only” was a huge inspiration in me starting my catering business. One December, he surprised me with one of his rare visits, where I made him jerk chicken. He kept talking about how flavorful and tender it was; he was very impressed to say the least.

I have always been an entrepreneur, so getting into another business venture was a no brainer; more so this one, because of my love & passion for cooking. The name of my business was an easy one too. I drew my inspiration from the love of my dear sweet grandma, IRIS. She was a very good cook, and her baking skills was always on point, second to none, and she was super creative.

Grandma IRIS was very special to me, and dear to my heart. I will forever cherish our times spent together, and her love and kindness that she showed to me.
